Thursday, February 24, 2022 –Opposition leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka today rekindled their ‘bromance’ with indications high that the two could again be working together very soon.

The duo who met during Cyrus Jirongo’s United Democratic Party UDP National Delegates meeting today Thursday February 24, seemed to be in agreement to work together ahead of next elections.

While addressing in the Conference, Wiper Democratic Party boss Kalonzo said he was willing to join Azimo la Umoja Movement led by Raila Odinga but clarified that this will be done in a structured manner.

“We as OKA believe in national unity, and Azimio appears to be singing the same song, but we emphasize honesty in engagement,” Kalonzo said.

On his part, Raila Odinga invited Kalonzo Musyoka, Cyrus and Gideon Moi to ODM Party’s Friday February 25 Delegates conference where ODM will officially endorse Raila.

“Azimio is still in its early stages of development. I would like to see more parties join the coalition so that we can form the next government together,” Raila stated.

Elsewhere, Mwai Kibaki’s son Jimmy Kibaki has promised to respect President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Sagana advice on who should be trusted to lead this country from August.

In his brief statement, Mr. Kibaki hinted at joining Azimio la Umoja so that to help Raila Odinga get to power after Uhuru’s term is over.

“His Excellency the President addressed his people of Mt Kenya directly, and in a very eloquent and fatherly manner.

“He gave us the background of his current political position, as well as the direction the people of Mt. Kenya should take,” he added.

This is after Mr. Kenyatta on Wednesday at Sagana publicly vouched for an Odinga presidency asking his backyard to heed his wise counsel.
