Saturday, November 27, 2021 -Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has told off Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala over his incessant attacks on ODM Party leader Raila Odinga.
Standing his ground during their One Kenya Alliance OKA rally held in Bungoma on Friday Noember 26, Kalonzo wondered that their OKA alliance could be having Ruto’s moles who are pushing a different agenda.
The visibly angry Wiper Party boss seemed not happy with the way Senator Malala was attacking the ODM Party leader when unity of purpose should be their top agenda on the list.
“Usije ukasema umetofautiana an nyinyi kumbe umetumwa an wale wa wheelbarrow (Don’t try to bring differences here then it turns out that you are a UDA mole here),” Kalonzo said.
This was after the Kakamega senator used the better part of his time on the podium to direct attacks at Raila, urging residents to ditch OKA camp if their principals will, at some point, decide to support ODM’s candidate in 2022.
“Mimi mkishikana na huyo jamaa mimi nitawaacha mapema na asunuhi hiyo nawaambia,” he threatened.
He said the Mulembe Nation was tired of supporting Mr. Odinga and that this time round they are going to support their own even if it means losing at the ballot.
However, while other OKA principals ignored his attacks on Raila, Kalonzo could not wait for long before he faced off with him by reminding him that for any OKA Principal to become anything, Odinga’s vote was necessary.
He advised Malala to stop unnecessary attacks on Odinga because Musalia still needs Odinga’s support base for him to be able to become a strong man for the race.
According to the Wiper Democratic Party leader, uniting the country needs more than what Malala was basing on to attack Raila.
Kalonzo said if their OKA mission is to unite the nation for better leadership, it will be for their own good if Raila is allowed to join their camp and for some people to sacrifice their individual expectations for the good of the country.
