Friday, September 23, 2022 –A fierce exchange ensued between two Orange Democratic Movement ODM Members of Parliament over their party management style.
Homa Bay Town lawmaker Peter Kaluma took issue with his Embakasi East counterpart, Paul Ongili or Babu Owino, who had faulted Raila Odinga for not rewarding loyalists in the party.
Babu had delivered a series of tweets complaining that their ODM Party leadership was busy betraying some members and favouring others.
“ODM Party, so many youth and myself sacrificed a lot and used our resources in the party over the years, our pay is betrayal and blackmail. It is OK. Tomorrow is another day,” Owino wrote.
But MP Kaluma, quickly, reminded him that Raila had sacrificed a lot just to make sure the likes of Babu Owino win their parliamentary seats with a lot of ease through the ODM Party.
“Baba @RailaOdinga has enabled you to serve 2 terms as Member of Parliament just for shouting “tialala, tibim”! What more does Baba owe you kid bro!” he responded.
This would again lead to another bare knuckle from Owino who decided to go personal by talking about Kaluma’s state of health.
“Kaluma by the way did your Gonorrhea heal?” he quipped.
And Kaluma responded that it will only heal when DJ Evolve will also get well.
