Thursday, January 19, 2023 –Popular Nairobi-based media personality Kamene Goro has fallen out with her employer, Radio Africa Group.
Having served at Kiss 100 FM for along period of three years, Ms Goro will be paving way for her replacement at the station.
A source privy to the happenings disclosed to other outlets that the ever-smiling Goro couldn’t agree on new terms with her employer; hence the fallout.
After the exit of Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o from the station during last general campaigns, Kamene was joined by comedian Thompson Maghana alias Oga Obinna with whom they have been running the morning breakfast show that has had a huge listener-ship for years.
Gorgeous Kamene is yet to speak on this matter as efforts by various journalists to get her reaction remained futile.
Homenews.co.ke has, however, learnt that her place will be taken by Vybez Radio presenter Sheila Kwamboka alias Kwambox.
“Her addition will give listeners a chance to enjoy bigger, better, more engaging radio,” he added.
“We have a number of stations, the program controllers will incorporate her into the program over the next couple of days,” Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Martin Khafaf announced.
