Thursday, August 25, 2022 -Azimio la Umoja Coalition Chief National Agent of the August 9th elections Mr. Kanchory Saitabao has faulted his boss Raila Odinga for trusting Wafula Chebukati at the expense of his(Raila) presidency.
In his Thursday morning KTN Tv Interview of Ken Mijungu in which he was being hosted alongside Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Shoillei, Mr. Kanchory revealed that Odinga did not take them serious when they attempted to counsel him on the danger ahead.
“We warned Raila to push for the removal of Chebukati as the chair of IEBC but since he is a nice man, he said that we can just trust him,” said Kanchory.
The chief agent further argued that Chebukati would finally use that good-will from Odinga to bungle the whole exercise and deny him(Raila) his honest victory.
Kanchory said, all along, some of them never wanted Chebukati near any electoral process because he was destined to mess the exercise in favour of William Ruto.
“Chebukati deliberately disobeyed orders. He has bungled an election and has acted with utmost impunity,” alleged Kanchory citing the said irregularities.
Kanchory further insisted that Chebukati colluded with Kenya Kwanza alliance leaders to unfairly put their candidate ahead of Raila Odinga.
He reminded UDA’s Shollei on how she kept on shuttling in and out of the Bomas to bungle elections through illegal Form 34A and Bs and laptops.
