Tuesday, July 12, 2022 –President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned graft lords in the country that their days are numbered should Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance win elections.
Kenyatta who was addressing hundreds of residents in Embakasi East on Tuesday July 12, warned that, unlike him, Martha Karua who Raila Odinga has handed the Constitutional docket will not be sparing the corrupt politicians who have been looting public money on a daily basis.
Uhuru was certain that Ms Karua would work diligently to make sure the country realizes its goals as far as keeping law and order is concerned.
“The peace we enjoy is a result of our efforts to put aside our political differences. I also applaud him because he chose to work with a woman of character, Martha Karua.
“I know she will not be lying around watching as public lands are grabbed. They will be jailed. She is not lenient like me and I trust her to get the job done,” he added,
The president went further to ask his deputy to stop complaining about him because the real race will be against Raila Odinga and Martha Karua.
“They are telling me that I should keep quiet and go home, but I want to tell them I am going nowhere. I will do my work until my last day,” Uhuru confirmed.
He was speaking this while accompanied by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Governor Anne Kananu, and former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
Mr. Sonko used the opportunity to urge residents to support both Polycarp Igathe and Raila Odinga in the coming elections.
His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta today officially opened the Mihang’o Hospital in Embakasi East Constituency, Nairobi City County.
