Martha Karua has vowed to take on both Governments of Kenya and Uganda in the Kizza Besigye matter at the Military Courts of Uganda.

Today Monday, the Kenyan lawyer and politician spent the better part of the day in Ugandan corridors of justice applying for practicing papers.

Speaking shortly after noon, Karua indicated hope that she will bag the required practicing documents by tomorrow so that she can start, in earnest, the exercise to defend Besigye from the outrageous claims stated in the charge sheet.

Karua said, all African politicians and lawyers will be meeting in Uganda so that to start the long process of suing both Kenya and Uganda over the mistreatment meted on the opposition leader Mr. Besigye.

“Charges on the charge sheet and offenses alleged to have been committed in Kenya are strange.

“We will be raising many objections and am coordinating many lawyers from across Africa who will be applying to practice in the matter”.

Lawyer Karua also added that they are going to file other cases in the East Africa Court of Justice against Kenya and Uganda for breaching the rights of innocent leaders who attempt to have divergent ideas.
