Sunday, October 6, 20214 –Activist Kasmuel McOure has reacted to a decision by hundreds of Kenyans to unfollow him on X and Facebook.

Taking to his X on Sunday October 6 afternoon, the youthful politician confirmed that he had started losing fellowship in huge numbers saying, the move will not erase his effective fighting for the rights of many in the country.

The activist went ahead and dared those who are yet to unfollow him to expedite because, to him, it is not a big deal and may not derail his plans.

“Why would anyone threaten me with deplatforming? The real challenge is deplatforming me from your mothers’ hearts because they see beyond the BS and sensationalism you’re trying to advance.

“Huku hata mkinirudisha 400 followers pahali nilikuwa 4 months ago sijali. Make it quick! Can you make your grandparents forget me though?”

McOure started receiving a heavy backlash from his supporters after he was seen mingling and reportedly being coached by government politicians at Bomas of Kenya event.

In the event, he was also seen as taking sides in the ongoing debate of impeachment because he only agitated for the removal of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and not President William Ruto as many young men would have wished.

Morara Kabaso addressing

The public participation function which was attended by ODM MPs saw his fellow activist Morara Kebaso attacked and injured.

McOure would, on the following day, come out to apologise.
