Wednesday, September 29, 2021 -Kenyans have continued to fault the appointment of former IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba to the Communication Authority terming the move as purely political.
Chiloba was yesterday September 28 appointed new Director General at the Communication Authority of Kenya CA-K in a move that caught the country unawares.
“Chiloba previously worked as a Team Leader and Deputy Chief of Party with Development Alternative Inc. He was previously a Projects Analyst in charge of governance, electoral systems and processes with the United Nations Development Program in Nairobi,” the appointing statement read in part.
Through a viral thread #Ezrachiloba the country seemed not amused by the new task given to the controversial former IEBC CEO who was sacked due to management concerns.
“I did share privately with someone about the impending appointment of Ezra Chiloba last week because he has the “expertise and necessary experience” to deliver 2022 presidential election,” Kinuthia Pius, a political aspirant commented.
On her part, former IEBC Commissioner Roselyn Akombe said the cards are being put in their rightful places ready to rig next polls. She described Ezra’s appointment as political and aimed to accomplish the State’s 2022 succession matrix.

“The tactics of repression are chilling but what I found fascinating is how they use lobbying/PR firms to project an image of democracy, development, stability and good governance,” Akombe stated.
Lawyer Miguna Miguna who severed ways with Raila after the Uhuru Park swearing in coronation, stated that the opposition leader should be very careful about what this government in plotting.
Mr. Chiloba is expected to take over office at CA-K as soon as possible.
