Sunday, September 22, 2024 –President William Ruto has mourned the passing on of Member of County Assembly at the Kiambu County Assembly.
Ezra Kihara, Nominated MCA at the Kiambu County, was pronounced dead following a harrowing road accident that claimed his life, instantly.
“We are saddened by the loss of Hon. Ezra Kihara, Nominated MCA at the Kiambu County Assembly. He was a dedicated and loyal member of UDA,” partly read a statement from President William Ruto.
The head of State who is his official party leader described the young politician as an exemplary person who played a crucial role in Kiambu County top leadership where he hailed from.
“His skills in party politics were exemplary, and he played a crucial role as the Kiambu County returning officer during the party primaries in 2022”.
UDA Party leader, while revealing why he chose to nominate the diseased in a position of county leadership, said it is because of his track record and dedication.
“As a result of his outstanding leadership capabilities, he was nominated as an MCA and his contribution will be dearly missed. Recently, he was picked as a member of the UDA National Elections Board technical team for grassroots elections,” added Ruto.
Other leaders also joined in mourning the late and wished the family as well as Kiambu County leadership well wishes during this difficult period.
