Tuesday, May 14, 2024 – Kimani Mbugua father identified as father Kimani has shared worrying details concerning his embattled son.
Speaking on Oga Obinna Live show on Tuesday May 14 morning, the father narrated how and when his son started ailing from drug-related complications.
He told Obinna that his son was a disciplined boy all through and who never exhibited signs of using drugs including smoking until 2021 when he first saw him with a cigarette smoking in the open.
One of her daughters took Kimani’s mobile phone by force and went through the phone videos and photos and that is when she stumbled on the shocking brief clip in which her brother Kimani was being dragged by a group of female friends in a room.
“One day, my daughter who had confiscated his phone told me he saw a video in which ladies were forcing the brother to drink a glass which had some white unga substances that looked like Cocaine,” the father told Obinna Live.
In the clip now lost with the mobile phone, Kimani was puking as he took the substance that has since changed his mental wellness for good.
“How that phone got lost I don’t know and we do not have that phone as evidence today. We wnated to use it to know what exactly the ladies were forcing him to use,” he added.
The drug took him about four days to sober up and that is the time he sought more information from the son so that he can now know how to live with him that way.
The father revealed that Kimani had never smoked before but they later found marijuana in his bag in 2021 when he openly started smoking cigarette before the family.
Kimani Mbugua is a former Citizen Tv reporter who hosted the youthful entertainment show dubbed Broken.
He since left due to his own reasons.
