Monday, October 16, 2023 –A car carrying Kenya National Union of Teachers KNUT Secretary General Collins Oyuu was on Monday morning involved in an accident.
The accident which occurred in Kisumu while he was heading to the airport to take a flight to Nairobi, saw his car role over several times landing into the ditch.
He shared his plight with a local news channel saying he sustained minor injuries in the accident with the driver also sustaining similar cuts.
He linked the accident to a boda boda rider who he had to escape hitting and, in the process, the car veered off the road.
“The boda boda rider is in stable condition. I have just visited him at the hospital,” the unionist stated.
