Chrispen

Wednesday, June 12, 2024 –Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has criticised Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua saying he is a divisive figure.

Speaking on Citizen Tv on Tuesday June 12, CS Kuria said, Gachagua cannot unite even their Mt. Kenya Region alone due to his hatred on some tribes in this country.

He, instead, advised those in government to learn to work for every one regardless of where they come from.

“How I wish we just focus all out efforts in taking and moving the country forward. If I unite Mt. Kenya people, where will I take them if they have no food, water and health? Even the Bible says condemn those who mislead the people they are leading.

Gachagua is Divisive

“DP Gachagua is a divisive figure in this country; even to my own people he is going to preach isolation to them,” added Kuria.

Kuria, though, said Gachagua remains his boss, there is democracy and the freedom to point out his weaknesses because that is whom he has been discovered to be.

“We have to develop every part of this country.

“Though he is my boss and the deputy president, am saying this with atmost and profound respect to him,” noted CS Kuria.

At this juncture, Yvonne Okwara sought to know how Kuria has been affording to share Cabinet meetings at the Statehouse with a man he claims to be divisive.

“Paint for me the picture on the wall how you sit with a man whom you think he is very divisive at the Cabinet meeting”” asked Yvonne.

Kuria, instead, asked the host to point out any one incident when he(Kuria) lied on anything to the public.

DP Gachagua Demanded sh 1B

CS Kuria was tearing down Gachagua moments after Majority Leader in the National Assembly, Kimani Ichung’awh, accused the DP of blackmailing President William Ruto by demanding sh 1B office money.

“The sh 1B plus demands and question. One former, one current. Script similar. Ethnic undertones. Fill in the gaps,” Ichung’wah shared the cryptic message adding:

“Neither President Ruto nor the Government of Kenya or Members of Parliament will succumb to BLACKMAIL. No amount of sympathy seeking photos, vernacular stations campaigns, social media blogging troops will handover billions to satisfy anyone’s Insatiable greed for power.…”.

Earlier in the day, DP Gachagua appeared in the Tuesday Cabinet meeting chaired by President William Ruto and which was attended by all Cabinet Secretaries.

After the meeting, the second in command, carrying his own suitcase, took a Kenya Airways KQ flight to Mombasa where he is upto now.

He recently, challenged those criticising him for his stand to do that from within Mt. Kenya borders.
