Thursday, August 22, 2024 –Former Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has accused a section of ruling Party members from Mt. Kenya for waging a war in government that has overwhelmed them.
Speaking somewhere in Central Region, the vocal politician indicated that, some individuals which he did not mention, started the war that is today costing the region national leadership.
Speaking about their numbers, he noted that it is not true that Mt. Kenya has better numbers than the rest of the country.
“On Innoro Tv, I said that we have, all along, been told we have numbers. I went to school to learn math not literature.
“We have some people we go to in the bar and start a war which they cannot handle. They become the first to take off. Do not start war which you do not know how to finish,” he also said.
The former Public Service CS added that the opposition is today in the government not because of their efforts but because of the weakness in the ruling coalition.
He also noted that he is peaceful being out of the government since nobody is making late night calls and early morning calls for State-related assignments.
His remarks closely following yesterday’s clash with DP Rigathi Gachagua who had urged him to calm down despite dismissal from office.
