Kuria Sends Karua a Message After she Joined Azimio

Thursday, March 24, 2022 –Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria has reacted to Martha Karua’s today’s(Wednesday) move to join forces with Azimio la Umoja Movement.

Taking to his social media platforms on Wednesday March 23 afternoon, MP Kuria respected the decision of Martha Karua saying, ultimately, Kenya is the winner in all the decisions being taken by politicians currently.

He added that Karua’s decision might have occurred as a result of both conviction and ideologies within the political setting.

“I respect the decision by my sister Martha Karua to join Azimio just like she respected my decision to join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Ultimately Kenya is the winner and democracy will prevail. May the best team win,” Kuria stated.

In his speech while receiving Karua, a visibly happy Odinga noted that it was not an easy task as it took him an hour to sweet talk the Narc-Kenya Party boss so that she could change her mind and support his bid.

He also argued that, together they have had a common goal in the democratization of the country and that their struggle stretches as far as decades ago.

Karua, on her part, said that she values whatever struggle Raila Odinga has had in the fight for democracy in this nation and that it will even be better to see him take over from where Uhuru Kenyatta would have left the government.

The former Constitutional Minister has now joined his One Kenya Alliance OKA colleagues among them Kalonzo Musyoka(Wiper), Gideon Moi(KANU) and Cyrus Jirongo in helping Raila take over the power from President Uhuru in August.
