Sunday, July 10, 2022 –Gatudu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has again clashed with Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi.
The fierce exchange took place during their Kenya Kwanza Saturday July 9 rally when Kuria took issue with Wamatangi for not campaigning for Deputy President William Ruto.
The Chama cha Kazi Party boss told the senator in the eye that he must be honest with Dr. William Ruto by campaigning for his presidential bid also.
Kuria claimed that Wamatangi has only been seeking for his own votes without asking locals to also support Ruto who is currently facing a stiff competition from Azimio la Umoja’s Martha Karua.
“This earth is hard. I have been on campaign trail with Sen Kimani wa Matangi for 11 hours today. Not once did he ask people to vote for William Ruto,” Kuria said.
At some point when Senator Wamatangi was addressing, he could be seen being rebuked by Kuria’s supporters who kept booing him until he surrendered.
This was happening as the Gatundu MP was seen celebrating atop his campaign car even as Wamatangi struggled to speak out his mind.
Homenews.co.ke has since learnt that their coalition’s running mate Rigathi Gachagua decided to give the event a wide berth.
This fight is happening exactly three weeks since another gubernatorial candidate, William Kabogo, called it quits from the coalition. He has since started chanting his own political path.
