Sunday, May 16, 2021 -High Flying Tv Journalist Larry Madowo has had his last photo with the BBC colleagues.
In a photo that reached Homenews.co.ke desk on Sunday May 16, the respected Tv reporter bid farewell to his BBC colleagues whom he described as warm and enjoyable.
“Final team photo! An honor working on my last story for the BBC with these gentlemen. My first piece in America was also filmed by the brilliant Pete Murtaugh (next to me) so it was special to finish with him. So long, friends,” read the caption on the photo.
In his new role with the CNN, Mr. Madowo will be filing stories from Nairobi City where he started his journalism journey with local stations.
He joined BBC from Kenya’s NTV station at Nation Media Group located along Kimathi Street where he ran, among other segments, the highly watched entertainment show – the Trend which is now run by Amina.
Rumours have it that the CNN management offered the journalist a cool package which may see him take home millions every month.
