Thursday, February 9, 2023 –Constitutional Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has said that Judge Said Juma Chitembwe is not the worst case of judges in the country.
Appearing on Spice FM radio show on Wednesday February 8 evening, Senior Counsel Ahmedanasir maintained that the Kenya’s justice system is so bribed that it is hard to tell which case was ruled fairly and which one was not.
He revealed that the High Court Judge Chitembwe is far from the worst judges on the bench and that the Kenyan Justice system is so broken and corrupt irreparably; a complain that has never been taken seriously.
According to the renowned lawyer, Said Chitembwe is a relatively clean judge of all the judges in the country and that, compared to his peers in the Judiciary, he is not as evil as he is being made to look like.
“I have practiced law 30 years and I have never seen a such a corrupt Judiciary system than today. I practiced in the 90s when Moi was supreme; when he used to control courts but now it is a norm everyday,” he told his hosts,”
He was weighing in on the dismissal of Judge Said Chitembwe who has been recommended to be struck off the Judicial register for reasons related to bribing.
Chitembwe was exposed by former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko who accused him of being bribed to bend cases.
Sonko would go further to accompany his case with raw video clips exposing the judge in his office receiving boxes of notes.
