Monday, July 24, 2023 -Nairobi Lawyer Donald Kipkprir has explained how Pauline Njoroge will finally be let free by the courts for lack of any evidence.
In a statement made on Sunday July 23, the seasoned lawyer noted that, eventually, Ms Njoroge will win the case for lack of evidence from the police.
He said the police seem to have planted the narcotics to the digital strategist as part of the ongoing political witch-hunt; something that will terribly fail however long this could take.
“Before 2010 Constitution, Director of Public Prosecutions was a political lapdog and puppet of the Police .. Police in civilian clothes then planted drugs, seditious pamphlets (mwakenya) and guns on government opponents … 2010 ushered new Dawn: or so we thought!” stated Kipkoror.
He, therefore, explained that, with the current high-tech technology, it is going to be easier for the accused persons to prove the State wrong over lack of finger prints on the said drungs.
“Before modern DNA technology, rogue Police could “plant “ evidence on innocent people … But modern technology can show whose fingerprints, hair strand, spit, sweat or cloth fiber are on the exhibits & show a perfect time on chain of custody! Technology frees the innocent,” added the lawyer.
He challenged the William Ruto’s government to focus their energy on the urgent matters like insecurity affecting parts of this country rather than unnecessary sideshows.
“A Governor admits al Shabaab occupies 60% of Kenya’s North Eastern. Instead of our security apparatus focusing on liberating our country, they’re busy planting narcotics on a girl. In African traditional rules of war, women were never fought even if they found in battle fields” Lawyer Kipkorir mentioned.
He would shortly be supported by Kathiani Constituency Member of Parliament MP Robert Mbui, who while speaking on Citizen Tv today morning, noted that the police can arrest someone and put something illegal in his or her pocket.
Lawyer representing Pauline Njoroge, Ndegwa Njiru, has today Monday, claimed that his client was yet to be produced in the courts due to State interference.
