Mt. Kenya Region supported President William Ruto in his UDA Party. They are also talking about supporting Baba, why can’t they support him by joining ODM Party?
It will be very hard for Mr. Odinga to allow people who have fought, for years, his bid to lead the country to now purport to love him. They are only doing it so that he can help them fight President William Ruto.
If Mt. Kenya is really genuine with making Mr. Odinga president in 2027, then that’s okay. Let them do it at his condition not their condition. Because of desperation and what they are going through, they are the ones soliciting to have Odinga on their side. Not the vice versa.
If they want to support Baba and make him president because they feel they can, let them first a accept that they do not have a serious party for Baba to join, they have to enter ODM.
Yes, fold all their village parties and join Raila Odinga’s national ODM, then we will know they mean business; anything else is utter noise.
