Monday, February 27, 2023 –Former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma has challenged Azimio la Umoja Leader Raila Odinga to first open Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party nomination servers before asking for IEBC servers.

Jack Ranguma, who is now is the current SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority SASRA chairman, has dismissed Odinga’s calls of opening electoral servers.

Responding to Azimio calls, Mr Ranguma described actions by Odinga and Martha Karua as late and baseless cries that won’t help either.

“Let him first open ODM nominations servers before he demands for the opening of IEBC servers,” the ex-governor said.

Mr. Ranguma went on to recount how ODM Party leadership bungled their nomination exercise and never bothered to address complains within the party structures.

The politician added that Raila was fairly defeated by William Ruto and this was legally validated at the Supreme Court as everyone watched live proceedings either at home or inside the Apex court.

He, therefore, warned that Odinga’s main reason of crying foul is to derail the development plans of the current regime and he must be ignored.

The ex-Kisumu boss wondered why Odinga has been silent for all this time only to turn around six months later to claim that servers must be opened.

Speaking in Nyando Sub county on Sunday February 27during a church fundraising, the former governor said the 14 days ultimatum issued by Raila to Ruto’s administration is uncalled for and should be treated as just roadside theatrics.

“The days are running fast, and I want to tell our youth to concentrate on building the economy,” he said.

He reminded the youth that investors fear chaos and Raila’s unending drama will lead to economic sabotage; what is not so good for Kenyans and went ahead to urge the youth to start giving Raila’s rallies a wide berth.

Ranguma was speaking this just days after President Ruto, who was in Kitui County last week, told the public that IEBC servers have been open throughout.

Ruto added that he will not be threatened by protests from anybody and that if this escalates into something else, he will definitely fight back.
