Lilian Steps Down as Machakos County First Lady

Through a long Instagram post she made on Sunday evening August 15, Lilian expressed her dissatisfaction with the relationship saying change at this time was inevitable.

“The only constant in life is change and we must be present and aware to appreciate and embrace it,” she said in her social media post adding:

“Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end the long term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together. We remain friends”.

As a result, she will nolonger be the Machakos County first lady but has promised to continue monitoring any project she had in Machakos County for the benefit of the locals who had entrusted her.

“God’s plans are always for our good. Never doubt or question,” she concluded.

Dr. Alfred Mutua has had several incidences of sex scandals with last year having dragged investigative blogger Edgar Obare to court after he had exposed his philandering behavior. A certain lady Daisy Achieng had accused the governor of forcing her to procure an abortion. She shared the details with the daring blogger who then leaked them out.

A few weeks later, Lilian was seen together with a Nairobi based Rapper Juliani along a Thika-road-based restaurant and the word spread around like wild fire.

It has however now been confirmed that Lilian left the governor about two months ago and each one now lives on his own.

Reacting to the development, Mr. Mutua wrote back a long post terming the companionship he got from Lilian as amazing and allowed her to continue with her projects in his county.
