Sunday February 28, 2021 -Raila Odinga can only endorse someone only after he serves his term. Allies have said.

Led by Raila’s brother Oburu Odinga, on Saturday February 27, they claimed it is not fair to ask for an endorsement from a man who has never been to power. They instead asked the disgruntled NASA leaders who want endorsement from the opposition leader to first gang up in his favour so that he can win, serve his term befire he leaves power to some of them.

Oburu made this remarks during the burial of Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati’s mother Selina Nasike.

“Raila will only give the presidency to any of the Luhya leaders after he has served his term,” noted Oburu.

He reasoned that the best opportune moment for Raila in now when Uhuru preparing to go home for his retire.

The East African legislative Assembly lawmaker then urged the luhya leaders including Musalia mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Ford Kenyan moses Wetnag’ula to be patient because ther William election after 2022 and they will  be supported by the ntioer luo community

“Some people are asking for Raila to endorse them. Raila did not get the presidency and therefore has nothing to give out to anybody. How do you leave to somebody that which you don’t have?” Oburu said.

According to the Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo, Raila is the only one who understands the county’s problems and will easily fix them within hi tenure.

“Raila will ensure he implements the initiatives he wanted but were ignored by the regimes that were in power,” Odhiambo said.

Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga also urged the NASA leaders to agree and push Odinga through for only a single term.

Similar remarks wer shgarted by ANC Nominated Senator Godfrey Osotsi, Sabot Mp Amisi Caleb and Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong.
