Thursday, November 24, 2022 –Nairobi Thespians, Ondiek Nyakakwota alongside Makokha, have been awarded Creator Award Subscriber Milestone by YouTube.
The two former KBC Vioja Mahakamani actors who teamed up to form their own YouTube channel(Ondiek na Makokha) that now boats of over 103k subscribers were on Thursday November 24 morning awarded the YouTube Silver Creator button.
They rushed to their Facebook and other social media pages to express their gratitude to their ever-swelling fanbase countrywide.
“Wadau imefika thank so much for making us reach this far we don’t take it for granted thank you for always supporting our content,” the caption read.
According to Youtube, their Creator Awards are their way of recognizing the extraordinary effort content creators put into their growing channels and to build thriving communities, responsibly.
“Creators pour their heart and soul into their videos, and we’re honoured to celebrate them when they reach Creator Award subscriber milestones,” YouTube says.
To be eligible for a Creator Award, creators need to meet the eligibility criteria and must follow laid down policies.
Once satisfied that the channel is eligible for a YouTube Creator Award, one can then apply to get the award redemption code.
The awards come in different colours of Silver (reach 100,000 subscribers), Gold(when you reach 1,000,000 subscribers), Diamond (when you reach 10,000,000 subscribers), and Red Diamond(when you hit 100,000,000 subscribers).
