Friday, May 28, 2021 -Kepha Nyambane wanted President Uhuru Kenyatta to help him with a job when he stopped Uhuru’s convoy in Lucky Summer last Wednesday May 26.
Revealing this yesterday Thursday May 27 to the media, Kepha said he targeted Uhuru’s car and was ready to pay the price for his action.
“I wanted to talk to him, but I saw the security detail was coming my may…when the ambulance passed, I knew the Benze was carrying my leader whom I really wanted to talk to.
“I do not even understand how I did that. It was just the spirit which pushed me, and after I saw him, I said this is my golden time without minding the vehicles,” he added.
Just like there is a common phrase which says if you are okay with being ordinary, follow the path of ordinary people, but if you want to be extraordinary, follow the path of extraordinary people, so was Kepha.
Many desperate Kenyans have decided to take such risky path as long as their plight is addressed due to harsh economic times. DP William Ruto has had his fair share of this drama.
And when Nyambane, now 30, stopped infront of Uhuru’s car, it was the president who quickly intervened to spare the man from any harm. The father of three revealed to the media how he heard Uhuru order his security to leave him alone as he promised to talk to him later.
“Achana na huyo kijana (leave him alone). Tutaongea, tutaongea (we shall speak later) – rolled up his car window and sped away,” Nyambane recounted to the Standard.
He has however said he has not yet heard from the president but still has hopes that he will be reached to by statehouse.
