Monday, September 26, 2022 –Jackie Maribe has revealed how many Kenyans had started sending her congratulatory messages for being appointed in the Deputy President’s Office.
The ex-Citizen Tv Journalist on Monday September 26 explained that so many friends and social media fans had showered her with messages of goodwill as she takes up the new role in executive office.
She however, clarified that the rumour that she had bagged the plum communication job was not true and it should be ignored.
She quickly to her Instagram stories where she made an official denial statement after the news went viral across the country.
“I am not the Director of Communications at the Deputy President’s Office. Thank you all for the well wishes, calls, and text messages. Mambo ya God,” Maribe wrote.
Amid the statement, Ms Maribe was trending top on both Twitter and Facebook over what many said was her big come back in the media and communication industry; while other loathed her for playing down the news to evade the raging backlash.
“Stop lying!!! Rigathi appointed you but after online resentment you decided to turn it down,” a user made the comment as another added:
“The appointment of Jacque Maribe as Director of Communication at the office of the Deputy President is a good sign that companies will always hire candidates with a ‘name’ and overlook fresh graduates,” one user commented.
Ms Jackie Maribe’s sudden downfall started after she was linked to the inhuman death of rich city business lady, Monica Kimani.
Upto to date, she is still battling the murder case alongside her former boyfriend, Jowie Irungu alias Jowie.
