Sunday, January 24, 2021 -KANU Chairman also Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has disclosed how a mega coalition was in the making ready for the 2022 battle.
Speaking this in Laikipia County on Saturday January 23, Moi hinted the post-referendum coalition which they want to come up with will comprise those in support of the Building Bridges Initiative BBI.
He challenged Deputy President William Ruto and all others who are opposed to the BBI politics to confidently come up with their team and face them at the ballot.
He indicated that there was a possibility of teaming up with ODM’s Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Uhuru Kenyatta and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to win the next race withe alot of ease.
He took the chance to clarify that BBI will not center on creating positions for a few persons as claimed by their detractors saying anyone can be anything in the next government without specifics.
“BBI is not about individuals; it’s about Kenyans and how we will move going forward,” Moi clarified.
He then urged everyone in the area to heed to the advice and support the process so that the country can have a fresh look by 2022.
On Sunday while in Dagoretti South Constituency, DP William Ruto on the other hand, maintained that he would go on with his Hustler politics so that to liberate poor Kenyans who he claims had been enslaved for long by the elites.
Gideo’s Laikipia rally comprised among others: Woman Rep Gladwell Cheruiyot, former Minister Musa Sirma, Starehe MP Charles Njaguar and Laikipia KANU Chairman Maina Njenga.
