Saturday, August 13, 2022 –Software engineering students from Kenya can now join Microsoft Inc for their internship opportunities.
In an advertisement published this week, it is promised that during that period, the beneficiaries will enjoy working with techie team mates from Nigeria and build innovative software solutions; being part of skill sharpening process ahead of their career path.
These teammates will include university students from all over the world and working from the comfort of their homes will represent up to 50 percent of the job.
Qualifications for this internship position indicates that one will be required to be pursuing a Barchelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering course, computer science or related field.
Additionally, they must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
Other basic qualifications include programming experience in an object-oriented language (C, C#, C++, Java, Python) and ability to demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
In Kenya the roles will begin in summer 2023, around September.
