Wednesday, November 23, 2022 –Lawyer Miguna Miguna has left the country back to overseas barely a month after he arrived in the country following the lifting of red alerts.
On Wednesday November 23 afternoon, the lawyer was spotted at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA ready to fly back to overseas.
He seized the opportunity to confirm his departure from Kenya and urged the country to understand that he also has a right to fly in and out just like any other Kenyan.
“To London, with love. I’ll be back soon!
“Please Kenyans, allow General @MigunaMiguna to exercise his rights and travel out and into the country whenever necessary. Freedom is here! Viva!” he wrote.
The self-styled NRM general was speaking this after a section of social media users and leaders made fun of his confusing situation.
“The earth is hard! This Canadian monitor lizard imagined he could be a crocodile in Kenya,” Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma quipped.
Miguna arrived in Kenya on October 20 amid a lot of hype as he had promised to bring a revolution in his Nyanza backyard.
The lawyer had prepared his online army by assuring them that his arrival back in Kenya after five years in exile will bring with it a new dawn.
The alerts which the previous regime had erected on his way had severally blocked the lawyer from coming back into the country.
This saw him take issue with both ex-President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition chief Raila Odinga whom he had sworn in as the people’s president in an event which took place at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.
