Sunday, October 30, 2022 –Returned Lawyer Miguna Miguna has fired a political savage at Raila Odinga after the latter promised to remain in politics until the right time to retire.
Lawyer Miguna who was responding to Odinga’s recent remark that time to retire from national politics was not now, has promised to stop Raila through any means possible.
He faulted the opposition leader for wanting to remain at the top of Luo politics for decades and yet he has failed five times to take power.
“Raila Odinga has declared that he wants to be the 6th president of Kenya. He dangles the presidency as a TOXIC TOOL for personal ENRICHMENT.
“Raila must stop using the presidency to keep Luos in BONDAGE. If he refuses to retire, we will retire him by any means necessary,” Miguna noted.
Last week, Odinga mentioned that he will not be forced to hang boots until he achieves what brought him in politics.
“When my time to retire from politics comes, I will peacefully exit the stage. There shouldn’t be any discussion about that. Our focus now should be reforming the politics of this country so that democracy may thrive,” Raila stated while addressing mourners at the burial of his wife’s bodyguard on Friday October 28.
But Miguna who on Friday also landed in Kisumu on a cold reception despite promising to deliver freedom to Luo Nyanza residents, now seems to be enraged with Raila’s rescilience in politics.
Miguna a resident of Luo Nyanza and who doubles up as a Canadian citizen, landed back last week during the Mashujaa Day event.
He would shortly promise to seize Luo kingship from Odinga family.
