Monday, November 15, 2021 –Kenyan Government has allegedly raised a new red alert on Miguna Miguna’s journey back home.
Making this public on Monday November 15, the vocal lawyer stated that the French career had denied him a flight back to Kenya on account of orders from above.
He had already checked into Berlin when this happened indicating that his ticket was booked two weeks ago – to be precise on October 29.
“This is to inform Kenyans and the world that Air France officials at the check-in counter at the Berlin Brandenburg Airport have just informed me that the Government of Kenya sent them a “Red Alert” this morning that they cannot fly me to Nairobi, ” the statement read in part.
Mr. Miguna went on to claim that the Air France had not showed him any copy of the purported red alert to prove that they had received a directive from Kenya.
Media would later access a ‘denied boarding certificate’ document from the airline with wordings “denied flight for other reasons”.
Also on the certificate it was indicated that there was no available seats to accommodate Miguna , lateness among other reasons which however had been crossed with a line.
The self declared General had earlier predicted this challenge saying the Jubilee government was busy implementing plans to stop him from flying home on November 16.
He was expected in the country tomorrow November 16, 2021 through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA.
Some of the top lawyers who have been working day and nights to secure Miguna the necessary travel documents are LSK President Nelson Havi alongside former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga.
