Sunday, February 5, 2023 –Lawyer Miguna Miguna has advised President William Ruto to allow Raila Odinga to continue holding his political rallies across the country.
Miguna, who fell out with Odinga six years ago when they were both in the defunct National Super Alliance NASA, today Sunday February 5, advised Ruto not to apply force in stopping Odinga and his Azimio allies in holding their anti-government rallies.
“To President @WilliamsRuto: Make sure that conman @RailaOdinga isn’t arrested or prevented from holding his useless rallies. Let him hold as many rallies as he wants” he stated.
He, however, added that what Ruto must ensure is civility as well orderliness in the country by putting strict measures in place that will not allow anybody to destroy any property.
“Just make sure that his goons don’t destroy any property or cause havoc. Their noise adds political colour!” he added.
And weighing in on the matter of tax arrears by the Kenyatta family, Miguna advised the president to recover any land and money the founding family acquired irregularly from any helpless Kenyan.
“Ngina Muhoho Kenyatta must disclose how she acquired the millions of acres of land she owns and has owned since 1963, the sources of the TRILLIONS of SHILLINGS she owns, and she must RETURN the TRILLIONS of SHILLINGS she and her family looted – plus compounded interest,” he wrote.
Raila, today in Kibra, held his third anti-Ruto rally where he continued his onslaught on the government of William Ruto.
He used the opportunity to ask his supporters not to recognize the Kenya Kwanza regime since it is wrongly in power.
Present in the Kibra rally were former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, ex-Odinga’s running mate Martha Karua, Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni among many others.
