Millie Odhiambo Speaks About not Having Children

In her latest response post, MP Millie directly indicated that this is a condition she found herself in and she has very little she can do about it.

The Mbita lawmaker went on to state that she is a ‘mother of the motherless’ in the society and for that reason she is still grateful because that is what she has to live with the rest of her life.

“Those of you who always like attacking me for not having kids kindly have accepted the will of God and moved on.

“I’m a mother of the motherless and I’m proud of that,” she wrote of social media.

This is not the first time MP Millie is publicly confessing about her childless condition, sometime last year she was on record explaining how this came by.

She once stated in an interview that child bearing was not a big issue for her but at the same time divulged that, just like fellow women in the same category, she faces a lot of stigma.

“I do not want to take the pain that childless women go through and trash it. But for me, childbearing is not really an issue I give a serious premium. It does not define me and women should rise above it; it should not define who they are,” she said.

Millie is a staunch ODM Member also known for her aggressive debates in Parliament since 2008 when she joined national politics.
