The Mombasa boss accused Gachagua of exposing the nation to international ridicule at the time the country is suffering from unrest triggered by poor economic stability and governance.

The Governor opined that, whatever Gachagua was after, is to escalate public anger and confusion that can halt most key activities in government; what is not good of any leadership.

He accused the DP of casually discussing in public important security and leadership matters that should be delibetared under closed doors for a lasting solution to be reached.

“Rigathi Gachagua has chosen to publicly prosecute national security issues in the public domain, degenerating into personal attacks against Noordin Haji.

“These unbecoming utterances go against the solemn oath that Mr. Gachagua took,” Governor Abdulswamad stated.

Abdulswamad also indicated that Gachagua was part of the highly rejected Finance Bill 2024 and a subsequent fueling of chaos around the country.

And speaking about fallout with his boss Ruto, the coastal governor noted that Gachagua was now using Haji as an easy target in Ruto’s administration.

Days ago, Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria also accused Gachagua of having presided over the Cabinet meeting that approved several controversial taxes on mwananchi.
