Sunday, October 9, 2022 –A video doing rounds online has exposed Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket as a chief bandit in Baringo.

A local leader has come out from the area to divulge unknown details about the dirty work Mr. Kamket has been doing in Baringo County and its environs that has led to loss of several innocent lives.

The video uploaded online by renowned blogger Robert Alai shows a visibly angry woman linking the Tiaty MP to the killings in both Pokot and Baringo.

She goes forward to state clearly that the MP is a key bandit in the area and, recently, joined the William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza government to avoid being suspected.

“The biggest bandit is in  Parliament together with other leaders like MCAs. the person called Kamket must be held responsible until justice is achieved,” she charged adding that he(Kamket) knows where illegal guns are hidden.

This is after Blogger Alai on Sunday October 9 had tagged President William Ruto urging him to move with speed and allow investigations to commence so that the suspect could be charged in court of law over the crimes.

“Why is Kamket hiding in Kenya Kwanza when it has been said over and over that he is behind the killings in Baringo? Hey @WilliamsRuto, Kamket should be in JAIL,” Alai challenged to government.

MP Kamket is not new to controversy, he has not once been arrested over insecurity issues in Baringo area but anytime he is arrested, authorities end up releasing him just within few days of arrest.

“George Natembeya mentioned this guy Kamket several times but the government is taking so long to act,” user by the name Geoffrey Obegi reacted.

Several lives have lost in Baringo and Pokot due to increased banditry; what the new government is now trying to contain.
