Tuesday, February 14, 2023 –Youngest Member of Parliament Linet ‘Toto’ Chepkorir got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, today.
On Tuesday February 14 during World’s Valentine’s Celebration, the Bomet Woman Representative, Linet, organized a private party in which she introduced her favorite man with whom they exchanged red flowers today.
She got engaged to one Godfrey Kimutai in an event held at Sarova Panafric Hotel in the Capital City, Nairobi.
“The ceremony was private, and she said yes. The two have been in a relationship for a while and this culminated in the engagement,” a friend to the two confirmed to a local channel.
He, however, added that the man was the one who organized the ceremony by reserving one of the conference chambers for the Tuesday’s exercise.
And a few minutes later, Linet shared images from the event announcing that she was officially off of the market.
“And I finally said yes. You are one in a million. May God be with us in this journey. Happy valentine’s day sweetheart, I love you,” Linet shared.
The event was characterized by candle lights, red roses and a flower tower to usher in the new couple in town.
Linet’s official engagement came just a day after ‘playful’ Mumias East Member of Parliament MP Peter Salasya quipped that he will sire a child with her so that she can start respecting Raila Odinga whom she had chastised in one of her recent public comments.
