Thursday September 16, 2021 -Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambungu has rubbished Deputy President William Ruto’s calls for a truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The vocal Kieleweke member has roasted the second in command following his Karen speech on Thursday that he is more than willing to meet with Mr. Kenyatta to mend fences.

“So you (DP Ruto) only want Uhuru to do handshakes with you. If he does it with anyone else, it’s wrong. The insincerity is mind boggling!” Wambugu said.

He posted this response of Facebook Page saying the DP should stop politics of deceit and hypocrisy by claiming that he is ready to make peace with Uhuru when it is obvious that he has been fighting Uhuru-Raila’s handshake which also came as a way of fostering peace in the country.

He described Ruto as a man who cannot be taken serious and that his main aim was to come back close to Uhuru so that he could scuttle the ongoing peace in the country by fighting for Odinga’s ouster what they cannot allow.

Ruto today(Thursday) September 16 asked members of the clergy to help him meet his boss Uhuru Kenyatta so that they can continue working for the country arguing they were elected together and they ought to accomplish their leadership mission.
