President William Ruto should now make a bold decision to dump Mt Kenya and camp in other parts of the country.
I see no need to keep courting the Mountain which has basked in power for many years and, from the look of things,the Mountain is already broken and very easy to manipulate going forward.
He did the donkey work getting their support which catapulted him to office. That was the major task and it is complete.
President Ruto will have them in 2027 and they will vote him again in huge numbers. The ongoing Gachagua effect are mere sideshows that wont last a day further.
