Tuesday, February 1, 2022 –Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi has fought back claims made by Francis Atwoli and allies who have since decamped to Azimio la Umoja.

In a scathing attack on Tuesday February 1, Mudavadi accused Atwoli of practicing irresponsible politics around their Luhya Region. He reminded the unionist that no amount of intimidation will change his mind on working with William Ruto.

David Murathe with COTU Sec Gen Francis Atwoli conversing.

“The inconsequential Atwoli and a bevy of his inane cheerleaders must wake up to the reality of our times that the Luhya nation will never be hoodwinked again to “steal political beeps” at the lake! Never!” Partly read the statement from the party.

The AND Party went on to ask Atwoli and his group to stop attacking Musalia for this will not stop the latter from vying for the top seat in the August polls.

“No amount of incessant insults and pedestrian-sycophantic public display by the Atwoli and ilk mercenaries for hire will deter Musalia Mudavadi’s resolve to liberate the Mulembe nation from the political entanglement of a state project,” ANC wrote.

Mudavadi’s party was directly responding to claims made by Azimio la Umoja team which had its meeting at Golf Hotel in Kakamega Town on Monday January 31.

Led by COTU Sec Gen. Francis Atwoli, they described Mudavadi as a political beggar who was struggling to be recognized in the Ruto camp.

Resigned RC George Natembeya.

“He (Muthama) declared that there was no agreement. The Chairman of UDA has already thrown him out. Those are the shortcomings of begging. Where will they go now?” Atwoli chided.

Mudavadi’s party has also taken issue with former Rift Valley Commissioner, George Natembeya, asking him to learn politics slowly before he is muted by Mudavadi’s force.
