Thursday, October 27, 2022 –Musalia Mudavadi and Justin Muturi have today been sworn into office as the new Prime Cabinet Secretary and Attorney General in that order.
The exercise which was witnessed by the head of State, William Samoei Ruto, also saw Felix Koskei take oath of office as the next Chief of Staff and head of Public Service hence replacing Mr. Joseph Kinyua.
The Thursday October 27 morning ceremony saw Mr. Kinyua deliver a brief and to-the-point exit speech thanking the Kenyan people for having given him an opportunity to serve them for many years.
Former Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki was the third to take oath of office and will from today be the Interior Cabinet Secretary replacing Dr. Fred Matiang’i.
He was followed by former Labour CS Simon Chelugui who is now the Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development MSMEs boss.
Chelugui would be followed by new Defence CS Aden Duale who has since replaced Eugene Wamalwa in the sensitive defence docket.
This was followed by new Treasury and National Planning CS Njuguna Ndungu then Davis Chirchir who was appointed by Ruto to manage Energy and Petroleum docket.
Justin Muturi as the new Kenya’s Attorney General has from today replaced Paul Kihara.
