Mudavadi was Part of BBI Founders – Kaluma

Friday, April 1, 2022 –Peter Kaluma, Member of Parliament Homa Bay Town, has reminded Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi that he was also part of the Building Bridges Initiative BBI and therefore he should not try to distance himself from its challenges.

Appearing on Citizen Tv on Friday April 1, Kaluma advised Mudavadi not to be hard on BBI Initiators because he was also part of the team that first came up with it.

According to the MP, Mudavadi was initially a key BBI proponent, and therefore he should remember that if actions are to be taken, he will be included in the crimes.

Kaluma said this after the ANC Party boss, who is currently in Kenya Kwanza Alliance, said that those who are responsible for the Constitutional amendment should be brought to trial so as to account for every cent lost in the process.

“We want accountability. Those who were involved should be investigated, evidence provided and Kenyans should get back their money. We cannot have a government that is experimenting on the people of Kenya every year, every season,” Mudavadi said.

MP Kaluma however argued that Mr. Mudavadi should stop playing politics as he has not yet understood them well.

“Mudavadi is a land economist. I would advise that he gets good lawyers and forget about politics out of his mind. He is playing politics which is something he does not understand,” he said.

Kaluma spoke this after Deputy President William Ruto also asked President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader, Raila Odinga, to not only apologize to Kenyans but also to refund the billions they had burnt in the fraudulent exercise that ended badly on Thursday March 31 at the Supreme Court.
