Wednesday, October 5, 2022 –First time Mumias East Member of Parliament, Peter Salasya, remained a laughing stock in Parliament today during his first ever speech in the House.
In a video highly shared online on Wednesday October 5, the youthful Mumias East lawmaker who was making his maiden presentation on the floor, continued referring to Speaker Gladys Boss Shollei as ‘Madam Speaker sir’.
MPs would continue cracking up as the MP continuously called Gladys Boss Shollei “Madam Speaker Sir” despite several attempts to correct him.
He was struggling to agitate for the plight of his Constituents back at home especially on sugar cane growing and resumption of the fallen Mumias sugar miller.
MP Salasya was elected on Democratic Action DAP-Kenya Party which is fully funded by former Defense Minister Eugene Wamalwa.
