Monday, December 13, 2021 –Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has said their coalition with Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party is in top gear.
Together with ODM, Mr. Murathe added that Jubilee will make the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga the next head of State by all means possible.
He revealed that the Odinga-led ODM faction was on top of their potential partners ahead of the 2022 race.
The vocal politician said the rallying call will be to advice Kenyans to either choose Baba or Alibaba and this is the key message that they will be carrying along as they go around the country drumming up support for the ex-prime minister.
“You have to root for your own candidates. You have to get to a position where you tell them if you are you, this is the way you would go.”
“For example, we are asking Kenyans either to choose ‘Baba’ or ‘Alibaba’. These are things you root for in your campaigns,” he added.
In a quick interview to the press during the last Jamhuri Day Celebrations held at Uhuru Gardens, Murathe announced that the ruling party had a grand plan to form a larger coalition with ODM.
“The message of our party in collaboration with our potential partners in the future, because we are going to form a larger coalition going forward, would be stability and the unity of this country for the prosperity of Kenya,” Murathe stated.
He further noted that Jubilee, alongside the parties that will form the new coalition, would campaign for Raila ahead of the 2022 General Election to ensure he easily beats all his competitors Ruto included in the first round.
