Friday, January 29, 2021 -Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has differed with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s style of leadership saying it falls short of some important elements.

Murathe who was appearing on a Kameme FM interview on Thursday January 28 said their Jubilee Party has so many errant members who ought to have been suspended or expelled from the party but the president is so lenient to them.

He claimed to have severally shared this with the party leader but it seems he is not so keen to such an advice.

In fact, Murathe added that the worst part is where UDA leadership led by Mr. Ruto and Muthama are now busy bribing almost everyone remaining in Jubilee so that they can join their newly formed United Democratic Alliance UDA Party.

“Ni turendaga kuingata andu kiama-ini no Munene aratugiria nikumaiguira tha no riu nii ningumaingata mathii magake kiao,” Murathe said in Kikuyu language which loosely translates:

“We wanted to kick them out from the party but the President stopped us because he is merciful. But now I will chase them so they can build their own party.”

He linked Muthama’s heavy pockets to the ongoing exodus where their target is anyone who is remaining in Jubilee Coalition.

“Muthama is buying them but they should know that the UDA is not in Jubilee coalition any more. The President is my friend but I don’t agree with how he is dealing with party rebels. He is so soft,” he added.

Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki however advised Murathe not to dwell so much on punishing people saying UDA was still part of the Jubilee ruling Party.

He however argued him to deal with anyoen who was in cooperation with the orange Democratic Movement ODM Party.
