Monday, November 28, 2021 –Both Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga and Central Region politician Kabando wa Kabando have come to an agreement that William Ruto could beat Raila in elections.
In his latest statement of Monday November 29, Dr. Mutunga predicted that the deputy president was far ahead of Raila in polls and this could not be ignored.
Vocal Former Mukurweini legislator Kabando wa Kabando shared the same remarks saying what Mutunga had said was the naked and bitter truth.
Mr. Kabando argued that what Mutunga had opined over Ruto and Raila was the truth even from all credible opinion pollsters.
“My pal Willy Mutunga is spot on. William Ruto will beat Raila Odinga if the election was today. Credible pollsters have said it too. I share this view. So stop trolling CJ emeritus for simply airing a prediction. Raila’s team should find out the impact of the Raila Nyeri tour,” he said.
He however added that between now and the date for the next polls anything could still happen to tilt the arithmetic.
“253 days is a long long time in politics. A day in politics is eternity. New issues will jell. Dynamics will shift, and shift again.
“Ruto is rebranding, spreading self while Raila is mostly propelled by self-seekers who had branded him a monster, evil. Chicanery,” Kabando added.
According to Dr. Mutunga’s controversial prediction, DP Ruto stands a higher chance of emerging a winner in the 2022 polls if things will not change as much.
