Friday, June 7, 2024 -Kapsaret Member of Parliament MP Oscar Sudi, has won a court case on fake academic papers.
The long court case saw him remain in court corridors for years after a petitioner lodged the complaint, years ago.
Accused of forging his academic certificates, he was finally, today Friday June 7, acquitted of any wrong doing after the prosecution failed to produce the alleged fake papers as had been claimed.
His lawyers led by George Luchiri Wajackoyah said, it has been a very divastating long years of no sleep to make sure their client is acquitted of the forgery claims.
According to Wajackoyah who was addressing the media immediately after the case was dismissed, said their client has been tortured both mentally and psychologically since the day the case against him was filed.
Wajackoyah added that, MP Oscar Sudi’s work, constituents and family had been affected by the concorted case.
The team will now embark on a grand homecoming tour around Uasin Gishu County to speak to the people and assure then that their MP was qualified to be their leader.
