Wednesday, November 24, 2021 – Nairobi West Hospital has today acquired their own private chopper which they want to use in saving lives around the country.
Hospital management today Wednesday November 24 led an exercise of unveling their own state-of-the art helipad together with own chopper due to the rising demand for advanced medical services.
Photos seen by this desk proves that the facility is first of its kind on Kenyan market.
“Each minute will now henceforth make a huge difference in our patients’ lives. The helipad will speed up the time incurred transferring critically ill patients to the hospital, giving them the very best chance of survival,” Dr. Andrew Gachie said.
Dr. Gachie who is the chief medical officer added that a trauma bay had also been put up below the helipad to deal with critical cases during emergencies.
