Nakuru police finally nab a dangerous and violent thug

Nakuru Police have reportedly managed to catch up with a violent robber in the county after a long chase. Details have emerged.

It was reported by Citizen Digital that the police started hunting down the suspect after learning of several complaints from members of the public.

The suspect, James Macharia 52, is believed to be the main mastermind of a series of robbery incidents in Eastmore area, Nakuru County. He is also believed to have been part of gang that has been terrorsing locals around Nakuru and its outskirts.

Members of the public who spoke to Homenews.com described the man as the most dangerous man in the county and who was believed to have been enjoying police protection before his final arrest.

“He has been doing a lot in this area. Not once we have reported him but instead we are silenced and nothing happens to him. Today we are happy that he has finally been arrested. We urge that he be not released on bond since he would cause a lot of targeted harm to those he believes participated in setting him up,” an anonymous resident said.

Directorate of Criminal Investigations DCI detectives flushed him out if his hide out on Friday August 6th morning. He resides in Eastmore area.

”…assorted electronic gadgets among other items that were recovered from his hideout have been retained as exhibits pending his arraignment,” said the DCI.

During his arrest, police confirmed recovering as assortment of items including ID cards having different names, two driving licenses, a firearm certificate and some different electronic gadgets believed to be proceeds of theft.
