Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has warned young men and women who waste money in the bar when their mothers back in the village sleep on cartons.

In a clip shared online and which reached this desk on Tuesday, the area governor calls out men and women who return home for December holiday empty handed waiting to be gifted by mothers back to the city.

Natembeya, emotionally, talks about mother spending their nights on empty stomach and some who do not have mattresses to rest their heads on after a heavy sunny day.

The governor cautioned men and women who forget to look after their parents who took care of them at when they were stubborn and young.

The governor, therefore, added that the only best time to make your parents happy is now and not tomorrow.
