Monday, November 27, 2023 –President William Ruto’s economic advisor David Ndii has hinted at resignation.
In a cryptic tweet he posted on Sunday November 27, Mr. Ndii said he was nolonger comfortable serving under people who propagate lies to the voters so that to remain in power.
He listed three key things that could see him rebel against the current government among these are corruption, lies and disrespectful to the people who expect to be helped by the State.
“Three things I will not be party to, defend or take collective responsibility for. 1. Lies, and taking the public for fools 2. Corruption 3. Vomiting on the peoples’ shoes,” Dr. Ndii boldly wrote.
Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula would joined in the debate by calling out the Ruto’s administration for their incessant lies to the people.
“I agree with David Ndii. We can’t keep lying We can’t keep promising what we can’t provide. That’s why Kenyans and especially the Kalenjins and Mt Kenya voters are running away from RUTO, from MURKOMEN, from Davis Chirchir,” he stated.
James Smart also lauded the economist for deciding to face and confront his boss with hard facts and truth.
“Absolutely agree! Standing firm against lies, corruption, and any form of disrespect to the public is crucial for a responsible and accountable society. Please advise your BOSS to be more realistic in his promises. Wakenya tumechoshwa na hizo uongo zake,” James Smart tweeted.
Ndii is among William Ruto’s appointees who were elevated to the position to help the new administration handle the economic challenges facing the country.
He boasts of rich knowledge in matters economy.
